Dakota
Dakota has a degree in dance and brings over nine years of coaching experience to the gym. She has a passion for movement, creativity, and athlete development and especially loves creating unique and personalized choreography. She is dedicated to fostering a positive, challenging, and supportive environment where every athlete can grow in skill and confidence.

When not at the gym, Dakota enjoys painting, baking, and being outside- especially on the lake.

XCEL Coach/ Superhero
Nicole
Nicole is entering her 9th season coaching XCEL at JAG. Beam is her favorite event to coach- she loves watching gymnasts push through challenges, build resilience, and achieve skills they never thought possible. One of her greatest joys is sharing her passion for gymnastics and coaching with her daughter, who's also a gymnast at JAG.

Outside of the gym, Nicole works as a social work case manager (aka real-life superhero). When she is not coaching or working, you'll find her spending time with her family, watching shark documentaries, and planning her next shark dive adventure.

DP Lead/ Social Media Manager
Rachel
Rachel began gymnastics at the age of three, training and competing throughout her entire developmental career at Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy in Norman, Oklahoma. As a young gymnast, she had the unique opportunity to travel and perform in gymnastics shows alongside Bart Conner, Nadia Comaneci, and other Olympic champions. She also had the incredible experience of training with the French National Team early in her career as well as competing internationally in France. Rachel competed from Level 5 through Level 10, ultimately earning a full-ride scholarship in gymnastics to the University of Arkansas, where she was a proud member of the Gym’Backs from 2003 to 2007.
During her collegiate career, Rachel was part of the first University of Arkansas gymnastics team to qualify for NCAA Nationals. She held one of the program’s top floor exercise scores with a 9.95 and earned multiple honors, including four-time SEC Academic Honor Roll, two-time NACGC/W Scholar Athlete, 2005 Most Improved Gym’Back, and the 2007 Program Scholar Athlete.
Rachel graduated with a degree in Kinesiology (K-12) and is a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She began coaching at Sportsplex Gymnastics in Landover, Maryland, where she worked with both recreational and Xcel programs for two years. She joined JAG Gymnastics in early 2021 and now coaches the optional developmental team, bringing her collegiate and developmental experience and passion for the sport to the next generation.
Rachel is passionate about giving back to the sport that helped shape her, both as an athlete and as a person, through the 18 years she spent training and competing. She understands firsthand the discipline, confidence, and life lessons gymnastics can instill, and she’s committed to passing that on to the next generation. Outside the gym, Rachel runs her own photography business and enjoys capturing meaningful moments through the lens.

Erica
My name is Erica Brady. I'm married and together we have six amazing daughters and one sweet grandson. By day, I'm a Nurse at the VA; by night, I'm a coach, taxi driver, chef, and most importantly, my kids' biggest fan.
Two of my daughters compete at JAG, which is what first led me into coaching. Another plays travel softball, so weekends are often spent at the field or in the gym cheering them on.
Originally from Idaho, the military brought our family to Kansas three years ago. While I miss the mountains, I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunities Kansas has given us.
I’ve been coaching for the past two years, but my connection to the sport started 26 years ago when I competed myself. When time allows, I still love jumping into the adult JAG class. Coaching is the perfect blend of fun and challenge—and I love it. Every child learns differently, and my goal is always to find the teaching style that works best for each athlete.
As a prior service member, I bring structure, high expectations, and a focus on respect and effort. In return, I give consistent encouragement, respectful correction, and always celebrate effort and progress. I don’t dwell on mistakes—I use them as learning opportunities and focus on building confidence and skill.
I'm not all work and no fun! I take time to get to know each kid and enjoy hearing about their lives, likes, and dislikes. We play games and share plenty of laughs while navigating skills together.
Thank you for trusting JAG with your kids—I look forward to helping them reach their gymnastics goals!

Tanya
Born and raised in Jamaica with a background in track and field, I've always had a passion for physical fitness and body positivity. Now a proud gymnastics parent, I'm inspired daily by the dedication, strength, and grace this sport demands. Coaching allows me to support young athletes as they grow in confidence, skill, and love for movement- because gymnastics, at its core, is truly beautiful.

Reece
Reece has been a dedicated gymnast at JAG for 12 years and is proud to call it her second home. She is a 2025 State and Regional XCEL Platinum champion on Beam and All-Around. Reece enjoys sharing her passion for gymnastics by coaching, encouraging and mentoring younger athletes at the gym.

When she's not training, competing, or cheering on her teammates, you'll find her on the golf course enjoying some well-earned free time.
